This policy explains how Caravel handles data when you visit the website or send us an enquiry.
Who we are
Caravel is operated by Caravel Software, based in Porto, Portugal. For any privacy question, email contact@caravelsoftware.eu.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we process your name, email, company, service, message and any simulator configuration you choose to include. We also store the page, language, permitted campaign codes and referring domain associated with the enquiry to understand its source. IP addresses are used for abuse protection. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-abuse checks and Sentry for technical error diagnostics.
Cookies
The site uses a cookie for language preference. Visit source and campaign codes are kept in browser session storage to preserve context while navigating to the form; we do not create an advertising identifier. We do not install advertising or remarketing tools. Security services may process technical data needed to protect the site.
Why we use it
We use the data to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and, if we proceed, deliver the project. Enquiry source helps us assess which pages and campaigns generate contacts. We process data needed for requested pre-contractual steps and for protecting and improving the service, according to the applicable purpose.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiries and correspondence for as long as necessary to follow them up and, where applicable, for the business relationship and related obligations. You can request information or deletion through contact@caravelsoftware.eu.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and object to its use. Email contact@caravelsoftware.eu and we will act within 30 days. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
